I Like Me Better was a book design project centered on themes of reinvention, self-discovery, and emotional growth. The visual approach focused on capturing the warmth, humor, and heart of the story while reflecting the main character’s journey of starting over and reclaiming her sense of self. Design decisions were guided by the contrast between structure and freedom, mirroring the shift from a life built on expectations to one shaped by choice.
Using illustration, typography, and thoughtful layout, the final design balances softness with confidence, creating a visual tone that feels inviting and emotionally grounded. The project highlights my ability to translate narrative themes into cohesive visual systems and design work that supports storytelling while connecting with the intended audience.
