Whether utilizing Adobe Illustrator or Procreate, illustration and the art of doodling has always been the foundation of my artistic journey. I keep and collect every sketchbook I’ve ever filled, and I love to share my digitized sketches, paintings, designs, etc. online as well! Café Culture Icons
A beginner project from when I was first exploring and experimenting with Illustrator; I had a selective color palette to work with and really got to play with shape language and recognizability in icon work. Looking back (as it is an older project) I would increase the contrast on these icons so that they stand out more against the background, and add in a different, cooler accent color into the mix as well!
Resort Logo Exploration
A truly ambitious project, also while I was exploring the brush and texture tools Illustrator has to offer, here I was playing around with various fonts and text options paired with vector art to create some vacation-resort signage and logos. I definitely want to revisit these, give them color and more individualized identities to speak to their specific audiences through different applications like apparel, menus, etc.
Mixed Illustrations
A collection of artworks and illustrations I am particularly proud of, it’s so satisfying and rewarding to see how my style and technique changes and evolves over the years, while the devotion to creation and bringing my subject matter to life has stayed the same. Creation is such a beautiful thing, and I’m delighted to catalogue a choice selection here.
